Refund policy
At Alofa, our products are predominantly handmade using traditional methods and organic materials like reclaimed wood, teak, or are antique items. This craftsmanship means that imperfections in finish, texture, and color are inherent and part of the unique character of each item. These natural imperfections are not considered defects, and as such, we do not accept returns or offer refunds based on these characteristics.
Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges
We do not accept returns or exchanges, nor do we provide refunds for change of mind. We encourage you to carefully review and consider your purchase before placing an order. If you have any questions or specific requirements, please contact us prior to placing your order.
Pre-Orders and Cancellations
For pre-orders, the full payment is required prior.
Damaged or Faulty Goods
We inspect all items prior to dispatch to ensure they are in excellent condition. Photos are also taken before the items is removed from the physical store. If you receive a damaged or faulty item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery via phone or email at hello@alofa.com. You will be asked to provide proof of damage or return the item for us to assess and determine the appropriate resolution.
Shipping:
Due to the unique nature of our items, we do not offer shipping services. All purchases must be picked up in-store. If you prefer to have your order delivered to your home, you will need to arrange and manage the shipping yourself. Alofa will not be responsible for any associated charges or damages incurred during this process.
If you decide to organize your own delivery, our staff will take photos of the items before they are handed over to ensure their condition is documented. Please note that we cannot assist with any damages that may occur during your own delivery arrangements. These delivery arrangements are to be made during business hours.
Unfortunately, we cannot help carry or remove the items from the store where originally stored for pick up.
